A candlelight vigil was held for the Binghamton man who was killed last week on Mygatt Street. Jorden Dordell was honored by over 100 people, including his girlfriend Rachel Crawford, when supporters lit candles Sunday night to honor his memory. The vigil was held outside Dordell’s home at 32 Mygatt Street. Last week, Dordell and Crawford, who is pregnant with Dordell’s baby, were brutally attacked, which left 23-year-old Dordell dead and his 19-year-old girlfriend critically injured. Crawford was able to escape the scene by breaking out of a basement window before seeking help from a neighbor. Sunday night’s vigil featured music, including a rendition of “Amazing Grace”, along with people speaking about Dordell from the front porch of his former home. At this time, 25-year-old Nigel Saunders and 21-year-old Julian Talamantez have been charged with felony counts of first degree murder and attempted first degree murder related to the incident.
