20 local children got the chance to go on a shopping spree in Vestal Monday night.
10 children from each the Binghamton and Western Broome Boys and Girls Clubs were taken to the Dick’s Sporting Goods where they were given $200 to buy anything they wanted.
The kids were encouraged to pick necessities like shoes and clothing.
Champions Tour player Joey Sindelar, a Horseheads native, was on hand to meet the kids.
It was the second year that the Vestal store has held the event.
