The Binghamton Senators have announced that on Monday, Feb. 21 forward Cody Bass will hold a special family skate with his B-Sens teammates from 5 to 7 p.m. at Highland Park in Endwell.
The event was planned as a fundraiser for WINGS (When I Need Guidance and Support). Bass established WINGS in memory of Daron Richardson, the daughter of Ottawa Senators’ assistant coach Luke Richardson.
Its purpose is to raise money for the Mental Health Association of the Southern Tier and the Royal Ottawa Foundation’s Mental Health Program.
Fans are encouraged to come out and skate in memory of Daron on one of two outdoor skating rinks at the park.
Skating is free and open to the public. Those who wish to participate must bring their own skates.
