The demolition of 18 homes in the City of Binghamton began on Monday as part of a FEMA buyout program. Homes along Baltimore Avenue, Conklin Avenue, and Riverside Drive saw the demolition process begin. The houses being brought down were damaged by flooding in 2011. All-Around Excavating in Johnson City is doing the demolition work after being awarded the contract for $213,000.
