The President of Binghamton University, and co-chair of the Southern Tier Regional Economic Development Council, Dr. Harvey Stenger will be holding a forum on Wednesday to discuss the Upstate Revitalization Initiative as it moves forward. Late last year, the Southern Tier region was among three regions across New York State to receive $500 million to help boost local economies.
The forum will be held in Binghamton University’s Old Union Hall on Wednesday, beginning with a lunch buffet at noon and the forum at around 12:30. Tickets for the public are $20 and can be purchased by calling the Binghamton University Forum office at (607) 777-5801.
