A small airplane was forced to make an emergency landing at the Greater Binghamton Airport on Thursday.
The pilot of the single-engine plane cited low fuel as the reason for declaring an emergency at 12:30pm. After making a safe landing, the emergency was canceled.
Broome County Aviation Commissioner Carl Beardsley says the unnamed pilot was the only person on board the plane, which had been flying locally since taking off from the Tri-Cities Airport in Endicott.
