Flood Warning for the Susquehanna River at Waverly/Sayre

At 6:40AM Sunday, the National Weather Service in Binghamton New York has issued a Flood Warning for the Susquehanna River at Waverly/Sayre.
* From this evening until further notice.
* At 6:00 am Sunday the stage was 6.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast… rise above flood stage this evening and continue to rise to between 15 and 17 feet Monday morning.
* Impact… at 16.0 feet… the access Road to the Cannon hole neighborhood becomes impassible due to flood waters and mud. Athens is protected to 26 feet.
