Lisle Man Admins to Multiple Bank Robberies

A Lisle man admits to robbing a series of banks in three different counties in New York and Pennsylvania.
44-year-old Samuel Parrotti, of Lisle, plead guilty in U.S. District Court in Binghamton. Parrotti admitted to four different bank robberies, which happend last summer between mid-July and Aug. 27. Those banks were located in Broome, Bradford and Lackawanna counties.
The robberies included one on July 16 at the M&T Bank on Vestal Avenue in Binghamton, and one on Aug. 1st at the NBT Bank on Route 11 in Whitney Point.
Parrotti admitted to carrying a gun and passing notes to the tellers demanding money. Prosecutors said he stole nearly $38,000 during the robbery spree. He plead guilty to four felony counts of bank robbery. Parrotti could face a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison and $250,000 fine for each robbery. He is set to appear in May in U.S. District Court.
