A drug addiction treatment facility in Binghamton has just been awarded $3.6 Million to build newer facilities. Fairview Recovery Services serves women who are in the fight against drug addiction, however, the local treatment organization has been working out of a building built in the late 1800’s. This newly awarded money will go towards building a more modern facility, better able to accommodate patients and the services they need. Spokesmen for the organization also say that this money will also go towards adding four more beds to the program: two for patients, and two for potential children who must stay with their mother during treatment.
