Lockdown Law Could Close Binghamton Market

The City of Binghamton’s latest wave of lockdown warnings could be closing down a market in the city. As reported earlier in the week, the property in Binghamton that has accumulated the most points against it, points assigned for repeated criminal activity, is the property at 33 Edward Street, home of the USA Market. Now the market faces being shut down, unless ownership can come up with a corrective action plan to present to the city. Failure to produce a corrective plan could result in the market being shut down for up to a year.
