Man Shot On Bigelow Street in Binghamton

A 27-year-old man was shot in Binghamton Monday night. The victim was walking on Bigelow Street when a black male exited an SUV and fired several shots at the victim. The suspect also hit a residence and a vehicle. Police believe that this is not random violence, but a targeted shooting. The suspect is a black male about 5 feet 6 inches with a stocky build, gray hoodie and mask. The victim was transported to the hospital, where he was treated for a single would to his buttocks. Also, a police cruiser responding to the scene, was involved in a collision at Robinson Street and Broad Avenue. There were no injuries in the collision.
