A Binghamton man was shot to death in Johnson City Sunday.
Police say 21-year-old Eric Dantzler was shot while he was sitting behind the wheel of his SUV on Corliss Avenue around 5:30pm. Dantzler managed to drive the vehicle around the corner, where it came to a stop after running over a few parking meters.
Police believe Dantzler knew the man who killed him and the shooting may have come after a verbal dispute between the two.
The alleged shooter is described as a black male wearing a blue ski cap and a gray coat. He was last seen fleeing the area on foot.
Police are continuing their investigation.
