Members of the Broome County SIU and the Port Dickinson Police Department have arrested Christopher VonWolfersdorf of Binghamton following an investigation into an indoor marijuana growing operation.
Wednesday evening, police conducted a search of a residence in the Town of Chenango and found an elaborated grow room in the basement.
Several items were seized including grow lights, carbon dioxide tanks, fans, filters and timers.
The occupant of the residence had approximately fifty marijuana plants in various stages of growth inside the grow room.
In addition to the marijuana plants members found approximately 9 ounces of processed marijuana and several digital scales.
VonWolfersdorf was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Chenango Court.
