Student housing could be the answer to revitalize Binghamton. This was the topic of conversation at today’s Rotary lunch. Maureen Wilson presented her vision and efforts necessary to bring people, businesses, and tourists back to Binghamton. Wilson joined the pyramid Brokerage Company in 2000, a company that handles real estate business in the Binghamton area. The goal is to give Binghamton a face lift and attract more tourism. Wilson says that student housing could be the kickoff of this revitalization. Wilson also said that bringing more feet to the streets of Binghamton is essential to the growth of business and entertainment for the downtown area.
