The Binghamton Fire Department made a quick stop to a room and contents fire Tuesday morning. The call came in around 11 AM for a fire at 16 Johnson Avenue. Two occupants that were home at the time, and their dog, escaped the building without harm. The fire department
says that the structure can be repaired, but the occupants will be displaced for a while. Fire officials have not yet said what caused the blaze.
