Senior Brittany Rando scored a game-high 16 points to lead Owego to a 45-30 girls’ basketball victory at Susquehanna Valley Wednesday night.
The Indians will play in the Waverly Christmas Tournament next week.

Sophomore Katherine Vienneau scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead Union-Endicott past Maine-Endwell 47-37. Lauren Kozlowski had seven points and 12 boards for the Spartans.
Binghamton was too much for Vestal, winning 66-33. Melanie Patterson led the Golden Bears with 12 points.
Several of the local girls’ teams will play in the Pete Hyde Coaches vs. Cancer Classic in Johnson City next week.
In wrestling, Waverly rallied from 21 points down to pull out a dramatic 41-40 victory over their rivals from Tioga, Newark Valley beat Dryden and Owego lost at Chenango Valley.
