A man is dead after being hit by a vehicle near the Brandywine Highway and Robinson Street. The call came in at approximately 6:30 p.m. Saturday for a pedestrian hit by a vehicle.
According to Binghamton Police, 37-year-old Tom Jones was crossing the intersection when he was hit by the driver. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say there are no charges pending at this time.
The driver’s name is not being released, but police did say alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the accident.
