A homicide investigation is underway after two bodies were found in Broome County. The Sheriff’s office says deputies responded to a home at 4185 Lisi Lane in the Town of Binghamton Friday afternoon when relatives weren’t able to contact someone who lives there.
The home was locked when they arrived, and deputies had to force their way in. They found a woman dead in the basement, and the body of a man on the second floor.
Deputies are still early in their investigation, but they say they are treating this as a homicide. They say it is not a murder-suicide.
