Police: Robbery was Motive for Murder

Police believe that robbery was the motive in the shooting death of a Binghamton man on Sunday night.
21-year-old Eric Dantzler was shot and killed while sitting behind the wheel of his SUV on Corliss Avenue in Johnson City. An unidentified passenger was not injured.
Police say the shooter walked up to the vehicle and shot the man, according to a release from the Johnson City Police Department. The accused murderer is described as a black male wearing a blue ski cap and a gray coat. He was last seen fleeing the area on foot.
Police are continuing their investigation.
