A public meeting on the Joint Sewage Treatment Plant will be held Wednesday, May 25th, at 4:30pm, in the City Council Work Chambers in Binghamton’s City Hall.
Tomorrow’s meeting will cover aspects of the recent wall collapse at the plant, as well as the response to the collapse.
Representatives of the Office of Binghamton Mayor Matt Ryan, the Binghamton City Council, the Office of Village of Johnson City Mayor Dennis Hannon and other members of the Johnson City Board of Trustees are expected to be present.
The meeting is open to the public, however part of the meeting may close for Executive Session.
The Johnson City Village Board has voted to have the City of Binghamton take the lead in the investigation of the wall collapse at the Treatment Plant.
