The Binghamton community marked the second anniversary of the American Civic Association tragedy with a memorial on Sunday.
Thirteen people died in the shootings, most of them immigrants at an English language class.
Family members of the victims, ACA staff and local officials gathered at the ACA building and observed a moment of silence.
The plans for a memorial park in memory of the victims are still ongoing.
$150,000 of the $200,000 needed has been raised to get the project underway. Donations are still being sought.
