The Binghamton Police Department invites residents of the Greater Binghamton area to attend the 2011 Citizens Police Academy, a free nine week class in which officers highlight various units within the Police Department.
That units that will be discussed include SWAT, Special Investigations, CSI, K-9, Patrol and Computer Forensics and more.
Whether you or family members are interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement, or you are just curious to learn more about how the Binghamton Police Department operates, you are encouraged to participate.
Academy classes will take place each Wednesday, 6:30—8:30pm, from March 16th—May 11th in the Police Classroom located in the basement of City Hall.
