An unidentified male has reportedly jumped from the Court Street Bridge into the Chenango River at about 8:30PM Monday evening.
Firefighters and water rescue teams from Binghamton, Johnson City, Vestal, Endwell and Endicott responded to the rescue operation.
After about 45 minutes, the operation was suspended due to dangerous river conditions.
The search is now considered a recovery rather than a rescue operation.
