Binghamton Police have arrested 28-year-old Jordan Dupray in connection to a shooting that occurred at 56 John Street on June 20th. Police believe Dupray was armed with a handgun. During a robbery attempt, Dupray fired a single shot, striking a male victim in the arm. The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released. Dupray was charged Monday with felony Attempted Robbery, felony Criminal Use of a Firearm, felony Assault, felony Tampering with Evidence and several misdemeanors. Police say the incident was not a random act.
