State Police say they have busted a local marijuana distribution ring.
Over several raids they seized 85 pounds of marijuana, $120,000 in cash and six vehicles that were allegedly used to move and sell the drugs locally.
Seven people have been taken into custody. They live in Endicott, Johnson City or Binghamton.
State Police say the individuals were planning to sell the marijuana in Broome County. They received it from New Jersey.
Troopers have been investigating the ring for the last six months with the help of Vestal Police and the Broome County District Attorney’s Office.
The investigation continues and more arrests are expected.
