The Syracuse University men’s basketball team wraps up its exhibition season tonight against a LeMoyne squad that beat them last year.
The loss to the Dolphins did not appear to negatively affect the Orange, who went on to win their first 13 regular season games and finish with a 30-5 record.

Syracuse beat Kutztown 96-60 last Tuesday in their first exhibition game. They open the regular season on Friday against Northern Iowa.

After winning the Section 4 championship on Friday, the Owego girls’ soccer team will begin the state playoffs with a regional game against Section 1 champion Rye at 4:30pm today at Union-Endicott High School.
Owego beat M-E on penalty kicks Friday to win the program’s first-ever sectional title. The Indians are led by Lexi Hilliker, who has 23 goals, and goalie Brittany Rando, who has posted 12 shutouts this year.
Rye is undefeated through 20 games and ranked No. 1 in the state’s Class A.
Vestal will play North Rockland at 7pm at U-E while Chenango Forks will take on Bronxville at 6pm in Binghamton.
The winners of all three games will face the Section 9 champions in the state quarterfinals on Saturday.
