Students, faculty, and staff will take part in SUNY Broome’s fifth annual sleep out for the homeless tonight. Beginning at 5:30, participants will sleep out overnight on the campus quadrangle in tents, cardboard boxes, and tarps as they try to simulate what it’s like to be homeless, in hopes to raise campus awareness and money to donate to the Coalition for the Homeless of the Southern Tier. For more information on the Coalition for the Homeless, you can visit southerntierhomeless.org.
