The man responsible for robbing a Rite Aid pharmacy twice over the weekend has been arrested. 24-year-old Robert Proper Jr. of Binghamton has been charged with two counts of robbery. Proper was involved in two separate armed robberies at the Rite Aid on Robinson Street in Binghamton. Police say Proper entered the Rite Aid on Friday and Sunday of this past weekend, each time approaching a store employee, displaying a knife, and demanding money. From both robberies he was able to get away with over $600. Authorities suspect Proper to be involved in other incidents in the Binghamton area, and investigators continue to follow-up on those cases.
