A teacher in the Susquehanna Valley school system has been arrested after an investigation into a sexual relationship with a minor. New York State Police arrested 28-year old Anthony Raggi of Binghamton and charged him with committing a felony criminal sexual act.
Police did not identify the victim or say if the person was a student at the school where Raggi was employed. Troopers said the relationship occurred while Raggi worked for the district in 2012.
A district spokesperson said he has been put on administrative leave.
Raggi was arraigned in the Town of Kirkwood Court and released on his own recognizance, pending future court appearances. State Police are asking anyone with more information to contact them.
