Town of Union Supervisor John Bernardo has announced that the Town of Union will recognize IBM’s 100 Year Anniversary by designating this Thursday as IBM Day in the Town of Union. IBM’s Century of achievements will also be acknowledged at Binghamton University’s Events Center on Thursday where 2 sessions looking back on IBM’s years of discoveries and innovations are scheduled from 9 AM to 2 PM. During the company’s peak period of prosperity IBM Endicott employed approximately 11,000 people and another 5,000 worked at the IBM Owego site.
