Two Arrests Made In Binghamton Tire Slashings

Two men are behind bars in connection with a tire slashing incident in the City of Binghamton earlier this week. William Lynch and Brandon Chase, both of Binghamton, have been charged with felony third degree criminal mischief.
About 35 cars along Mather Street and surrounding blocks in the city’s West Side had two or all four of their tires slashed early Monday morning.
Police say tips helped lead to the arrests, but they have not yet disclosed a motive.  Police say they expect to make more arrests in the case.
