We are learning now from police that the two shooting incidents that have occurred in Binghamton over the last couple of days are related. Authorities say 29-year-old Eric Cureton of Binghamton was shot by multiple suspects while driving his SUV. The suspects are said to have fled the area on motorcycles and in a pickup truck. Investigators now say a second incident on Vestal Avenue in Binghamton is connected. A first floor apartment was shot at multiple times from the exterior in the second incident. It is believed that the suspects fled the area by vehicle immediately after the shooting. No injuries were reported. Again, Police believe these shootings are connected and are not random acts of violence. It is believed to be between specific people on opposing sides of an ongoing feud. The investigations are ongoing; anyone with information is urged to contact the Binghamton Police Detective Division at 607-772-7080.
