Two people were taken to the hospital Thursday morning following a multi-car crash on Route 26. According to Broome County Sheriff’s deputies, the accident occurred around 8:30 near Carl Street. Reports say that a car parked on the side of the road was struck by another vehicle, and after the West Corners Fire Department and the Broome County Sheriff’s responded to the accident, a West Corners fire pick-up truck was hit by another car. The car then also hit the rear bumper of a sheriff patrol car. Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
