Vehicle Plunges into Chenango River in Fenton, Two Dead, One Missing

Two people are dead and a woman is missing after a car crashed into the Chenango River just after midnight on Friday.
The vehicle, driven by Jaclyn Wesley, 23, of Johnson City, hit a guardrail along I-88 in the Town of Fenton.
The vehicle went airborne, hit the river bank, and then landed in the river.
Wesley was able to escape from the vehicle and flagged down help.
The bodies of Robert Morehead III, 25, of Port Crane, and Robert Marshall, 45, of Binghamton were found when rescue crews were able to pull the car from the river.
A fourth passenger in the vehicle, Carri Michalski, 39, of Binghamton, has not yet been found and is believed to have been swept away by the current.
The sheriff’s office is continuing to search the river for Michalski.
