The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a winter weather advisory for most of our listening area.
The weather service says light snow will continue to fall across the region through Friday afternoon before tapering off. Accumulations of a few inches are expected. Some wind gusts of up to 20 miles per hour are also possible during the day.
The advisory is in effect until 7pm Friday for several counties, including Broome, Tioga, Chenango, Cortland and Tompkins.
