Only 122 votes separate the candidates in the Broome County District Attorney’s race. According to the Board of Elections, Michael Korchak has a slight lead over Paul Battisti. It’s unclear how many absentee ballots are out.
Meanwhile, the race for Endicott mayor is razor thin. Unofficially, Republican Linda Jackson has a 24-vote lead over Democrat Cheryl Chapman.
In Johnson City, Gregory Thomas is currently leading in the Village Justice race…he has a several hundred vote advantage. For village trustee, the current leaders are Clark Giblin and John Walker.
John Schaffer is the unofficial winner in the Vestal Supervisor’s race.
