Three people were arrested as the result of a two-month long investigation. The investigation targeted the exploitation of underage female victims being used in the prostitution trade throughout Broome County. On Nov. 13, Lar-honda James of Johnson City was arrested for promoting prostitution in the second degree. On Dec. 5, Alphonso Dennis of Binghamton was arrested for sex trafficking. And on Dec. 12, Antonio Ballard of Binghamton was arrested for sex trafficking. All three subjects were arraigned in local criminal court and taken to the Broome County jail.
