The Broome County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing that took place on Bornt Hill Road in the Town of Union on Monday evening.
According to the sheriff’s office, one person was stabbed and another person was taken into custody following the incident, which occurred at around 6 p.m. on Monday.
The victim was stabbed twice in the chest. Law enforcement provided first aid treatment before being taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The New York State Police and Endicott Police Department also responded to the scene.
