Two people have been arrested after they took a golf cart last September from Fire Fox Resort in the Town of Nanticoke and then gitched it in the Town of Maine, both in Broome County. An investigation by New York State Police revealed that Jordan R. Preston, 23, of Union, and Amanda McGovern, 27, of Whitney Point, took the golf cart for a joy ride until abondoning it near a residence in the Town of Maine.
Preston was located last September was arrested on a felony charge of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fourth degree.
McGovern was located this week on Feb. 21, and arrested for the felony of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fourth degree. She was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the town of Maine Court on March 13, 2019.
