The Buffet Star in Vestal has temporarily closed its doors.
The restaurant, which is located at 4089 Vestal Road, announced the decision in a Facebook post on Monday.
The owners said they will be making upgrades to the restaurant and taking personal time to spend with family.
According to Fox 40, the buffet was last inspected on Jan. 3, and they were hit with two critical violations and 10 non-critical violations.
The restaurant said they will announce any updates on their Facebook page.
