A local Chinese restaurant that was closed earlier this year due to health code violations is set to reopen next week.
The Buffet Star on Old Vestal Road announced on Facebook that it will reopen at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 9th.
The business abruptly closed its doors on Feb. 3. The owners said they were closed to make upgrades to the restaurant and spend time with family, but it was also reported that it was hit with two critical and 10 non-critical violations during its January health inspection.
The restaurant will be offering specials when they reopen. Check out the Buffet Star on Facebook for more information.
