Catholic Charities exceeded their fundraising goal to help those in need this holiday season.
The Harvest for Hunger phone bank calls came ringing in from 5-6:30 p.m. for the last two days. On Wednesday, Catholic Charities raised $10,500. Thursday, they raised $11,070, bringing their total to over $21,570. This is the 12th year Catholic Charities raised money via the telethon. The event was hosted by WBNG-TV.
