Broome Deputies Arrest Marathon Man for Shooting Dog

Broome County deputies arrested 59-year-old Peter Loher of Marathon for allegedly shooting a neighbor’s dog in the Town of Triangle. On April 10, Loher is accused of discharging a .22 cal rifle at a neighbor’s dog on Page Brook Road. The hound dog, “Otto”, died from the injuries. Loher was taken into custody without incident, processed on a misdemeanor charge of cruelty to animals and released on an appearance ticket for the Town of Triangle Court at a later date.
