An Endicott man has been charged in an 11-count indictment after he seriously injured a Broome County sheriff’s deputy in an impaired driving vehicle crash Feb. 1 on Route 17 in Vestal. Some of the charges facing 34-year-old Daniel Butash are assault in the first degree and aggravated vehicle assault. Butash was driving the wrong way on Route 17 when he plowed into a patrol vehicle operated by Deputy Kristy Botsford.
