Endicott apartment building destroyed by fire

A three-story apartment building in Endicott was destroyed by a fire on Saturday night.

According to WBNG-TV, the fire started at around 6:50 p.m. on East Main Street in Endicott.

Multiple people were still inside the building at the time of the fire and were rescued by firefighters. One person was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The building’s residents are being assisted by the American Red Cross.

The fire is under investigation by the Endicott Police Department and the Broome County Bureau of Fire Investigation.
