The Village of Endicott experienced a water main break on Monday with more than a million gallons of water lost.
According to WBNG-TV, Endicott residents may want to monitor their water after the break.
Residents have said their water is a darker color and there is less water pressure following the break.
Endicott Mayor Nick Burlingame said it was not a village main break. It reportedly occurred at a privately owned water main on the Phoenix campus, which affected the entire system.
