Endicott Man Could Get 12-Year Sentence for Vestal Burglary

A Broome County jury found Paul R. Huss, 48 years old of Endicott, guilty Wednesday of three charges related to a September 2017 burglary in the Town of Vestal. At trial, prosecutors proved Huss unlawfully entered a building in Vestal, with the intent to commit a crime and stole a 2000 Ford F-550 truck and various tools belonging to a Vestal business.

  • 140.20 Burglary, in the third degree, a Class D Felony;
  • 155.30 Grand Larceny, in the fourth degree, a Class E Felony;
  • 165.40 Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, in the fifth degree, a Misdemeanor.

If the court determines Huss to be a persistent felony offender, he faces a minimum of 12 years in prison. He will be sentenced October 11.
