He told a deputy that he was a veteran and that the government had not taken care of him nor his family. Further investigation revealed that not only had Taylor given the deputy a false name and date of birth, but he had never served in the military. He eventually admitted to being a heroin addict impersonating a military veteran in hopes of collecting money from the public out of sympathy. He was charged with false impersonation and is set to appear in the Town of Union court at a later date.
