All across western and central New York Sunday hungry fans of Friendly’s restaurants were greeted with disappointment. Customers at several
locations were greeted with a notice posted to the front door announcing the location had closed for good. The dining spot at 301 E. Main St., Endicott, was among those that were abruptly shuttered Sunday.
The note encourages patrons to visit nearby locations, except one of those locatoons has also closed on Upper Front Street in Dickinson, according to a radio report Monday. Numerous calls to Friendly’s marketing department went unanswered.
As of now, apparently only Friendly’s in Johnson City remains open.
