An Endicott man sees jail time after stealing copper pipe and scrapping it for cash. The Broome County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division charged 32-year-old Donald House with criminal mischief and grand larceny, both felonies. House was living in an unoccupied apartment, where he allegedly cut out all of the copper piping and baseboard heating units. He was able to scrap the metal for an undisclosed amount of cash. He was taken into custody by police on Tuesday in Endicott, and was arraigned on the charges in the Town of Union Court. He has been sent to the Broome County Jail on $2,000 bail.
